Let the waters settle and you will see the moon and the stars mirrored in your own being. Rumi

I am meeting with clients in-person at my office in downtown San Francisco. I also meet with clients online via Zoom, depending on client’s preference.

Here is an introduction to how I would work with you.

You may look like you have it all together—capable, successful, reliable—but inside, you often feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. You might find yourself constantly thinking, working, or doing, without much space to slow down. Maybe your emotions feel confusing or inconvenient—either bubbling up when you least expect them, or staying just out of reach. You may notice burnout, irritability, anxiety, or a sense of distance from yourself or the people you care about.

Even if things look fine from the outside, something inside feels off—and you're ready to understand what that is.

In therapy, we’ll create space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we’ll work to make sense of your emotional world and develop tools to regulate it with more clarity and compassion. You’ll learn to recognize patterns that no longer serve you, connect more deeply with yourself, and feel more grounded and present in your day-to-day life.

Therapy isn’t just about fixing problems—it’s about building a stronger, wiser, and more emotionally attuned version of yourself.

I have over 25 years of clinical experience providing services to the community, including psychotherapy, teaching, volunteering, case management, mentoring, and clinical supervision of therapists in training. My expertise is in helping clients manage anxiety and their inner critic (negative self-talk), relationship challenges, LGBTQ+ issues, sobriety, guilt, family dysfunction, and identifying and healing shame. I also help my clients with healing their trauma(s), assisting those going through major life challenges including post-traumatic growth, job loss, separation/divorce, sobriety, and managing difficult and painful emotions, particularly depression and grief.

Feel free to contact me for an initial 15-minute Zoom or telephone consultation at no charge. This will give me an opportunity to see how I can be helpful and to answer any questions you may have.
